About Villa Porta - The history of Villa Porta begins in 1820

This conviction takes shape in the daily commitment of Lara Luz, leading Villa Porta since 1997. The Luz family’s history began in 1971 when Mr. Lothar from Stuttgart embarked on a significant transformation process, creating a luxury hotel named Camin Hotel Colmegna. Afterwards, it will be daughter Lara who will continue the ambitious path of growth… a path still in the making… A graduate of the prestigious École Hôtelière de Lausanne, Lara is an expert in the art of receiving thanks to the winning combination of know-how acquired over the years and her spontaneous attitude to conviviality.

VISION

The gradual expansion of the historic structure has always been developed with respect for the natural environment, in a unique and extraordinary territory that deserves to be promoted with determination.

Here a concept of modern hospitality is born, where standards of excellence are enriched with a family touch, with a spontaneous and welcoming character: a world of innovation that embraces history, a creative vision that recalls ancient affections, and a projection towards the future that is based on its origins.
